Cynthia G. Samwick

 

Cynthia’s professional experience is in medical marketing, social action and community engagement.   The majority of her career has been focused in healthcare communications, where she originated new business, created marketing plans, and provided strategic guidance to clients such as Glaxo SmithKline, Bristol Myers Squibb and Corgentech.

 Cynthia has lent her significant business acumen to pro bono advising for not-for-profits and social enterprises. She has also been an active community volunteer and engaged board member at organizations such as Scarsdale Edgemont Family Counseling Services, Scarsdale’s Student Transfer Education Plan, Dorot Westchester, UJA of Westchester, and the School in the Square mentoring program in Washington Heights.

She received a MSW from Fordham University and a BS in Communications from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Additionally, she completed a 200 Hour Lifetime Yoga Teacher Training.
